Under Spokane Municipal Code 16A.61.422, commercial vehicles over 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight rating are prohibited from parking on residential streets between 9 PM and 6 AM, except for active loading, unloading, or servicing adjacent property. Semi-truck tractors, trailers, tow trucks, dump trucks, and similar heavy equipment cannot be stored on residential streets. Business-zoned streets allow commercial parking subject to posted signs. Commercial vehicles on private residential property must be screened or stored in accordance with SMC 17C zoning. Food truck commissary parking requires compliance with Spokane Regional Health District rules in addition to city parking codes.
