You may not park on someone else's private lot without the owner's consent, and once a lot is posted no-parking, entering it to park is unlawful. On your own lot, trailers and RVs must sit in the rear or side yard, not the front.
Henrico County Code Section 22-157 provides that no person may stand or park a vehicle on any private lot without the express or implied consent of the owner, and where no-parking signs are posted, driving across a curb or driveway to park there is unlawful. Vehicles left more than ten days on a private lot without permission may be towed under Section 22-161. For your own residential lot, the Zoning Ordinance controls where vehicles and trailers may sit: Section 24-102(2) confines travel, utility, and boat trailers to the rear yard, side yard, carport, or garage. Henrico does not impose a countywide requirement that residential driveways be paved, but front-yard trailer and commercial-vehicle storage is restricted.
Unauthorized parking on private property can lead to towing at the owner's expense; zoning violations are enforced by Community Maintenance with notices and civil penalties.
