Concrete-filled steel bollards or non-mountable curbing (with at least 24 inches setback) are required to protect equipment from impact and snow removal damage. Standalone bollards must be three to four feet high with concrete footings. New developments must include make-ready parking infrastructure.
Failure to meet EVSE installation standards can result in permit denial, certificate of occupancy delays, and zoning enforcement actions.
