Placer County, CA Parking Rules: Loading Zones (2026)

12, Part 4 of the Placer County Code lists parking restrictions road by road in a table with four columns: Road, Location, Restriction, and Ordinance. Rather than one countywide loading-zone standard, the board of supervisors adopts a separate ordinance each time it designates a loading zone on a specific street segment. Brook Avenue (road number X7036) in the North Lake Tahoe area shows the pattern: the curb at 8515 Brook Avenue, north side, carries a "15 minute loading zone" restriction under Ordinance 6362-B, the curb at 8491 Brook Avenue, north side, carries the same 15-minute limit under Ordinance 6301-B, and the stretch between Bear Street and Raccoon Street on the south side carries a 15-minute loading zone under Ordinance 6374-B, distinct from the 2-hour general parking segment right next to it.
