Pasco County unincorporated areas generally permit overnight on-street parking on residential roads, though vehicles must not obstruct traffic, sightlines, or emergency access. No countywide 2 AM to 6 AM ban applies.
Unlike many urban jurisdictions, Pasco County does not impose a blanket overnight street parking ban in unincorporated areas. Code of Ordinances Ch. 90 (Traffic) and Florida Uniform Traffic Control Law (FL Β§316.1945) prohibit parking within intersections, on sidewalks, within 15 feet of fire hydrants, within 20 feet of crosswalks, and in marked fire lanes at any hour. Deed-restricted communities (Wesley Chapel, Trinity, Seven Oaks, Meadow Pointe) commonly enforce stricter HOA overnight parking rules enforced by private patrols. State roads within Pasco (SR-54, US-19, US-41) are controlled by FDOT and prohibit overnight parking on shoulders. Cities of Dade City, Zephyrhills, New Port Richey, San Antonio, and Port Richey set their own municipal rules. Sheriff's Office will tow vehicles that appear abandoned (72+ hours stationary) under FL Β§715.05.
Florida uniform traffic fines typically $30-$75 for unlawful parking. Towing under FL Β§715.07 at owner expense ($125+ hook fee plus storage). HOA fines separate and enforceable via lien.
