Largo does not impose a citywide overnight parking ban on passenger cars, but Chapter 11, Article III bars boats, RVs, trailers, and commercial vehicles from residential rights-of-way for more than three hours at any time, including overnight.
Largo Code of Ordinances does not generally prohibit residents from parking standard passenger vehicles on the street overnight, provided they comply with Chapter 16 placement rules and Florida Statute 316.1945 distance requirements. However, Chapter 11, Article III makes it unlawful to park boats, hauling trailers, recreational vehicles, semitrailer trucks, commercial vehicles, or inoperable vehicles in residential rights-of-way for more than three hours unless active loading or unloading is taking place, which effectively prevents these classes from being left overnight on residential streets. Posted no-parking zones, signed time limits, and city park hours override these defaults at specific locations.
Largo Police or Community Standards may cite or tow vehicles in violation; fines under Chapter 11 escalate to special magistrate or Code Enforcement Board hearings if uncorrected.
