Manatee County has no blanket overnight-parking ban, but a vehicle can't sit on a county road or county lot for more than 48 continuous hours, so overnight parking is legal only if the car moves within that window (Code 2-22-22).
There's no county rule that specifically prohibits parking overnight on unincorporated Manatee County roads. Instead, Code Sec. 2-22-22(b) sets a 48-hour continuous-parking cap that effectively controls repeat overnight parking. Certain posted rights-of-way listed in Sec. 2-22-24 prohibit parking at any time, and grassed county parkland is off-limits (Sec. 2-22-23). Restricted vehicles like RVs cannot be occupied overnight when stored on residential lots. Inside incorporated cities, local overnight and street-sweeping rules may apply instead of the county's.
Noncriminal traffic infraction under Sec. 2-22-3: $25, rising to $50 after ten days; vehicle may be towed and stored under Sec. 2-22-6.
