Many Norfolk County towns enforce overnight parking bans. Quincy bans 1-6 AM year-round (no permit option). Brookline prohibits 2-6 AM with limited permit program. Weymouth has winter overnight ban November 1-April 1.
Overnight street parking restrictions in Norfolk County are set by each municipality under MGL c. 90 Β§20A. Quincy Traffic Rules Β§8-2 prohibit on-street parking 1 AM to 6 AM year-round on all public ways; tickets are $50, towing common. No permit program. Brookline Traffic Rules Art. 6.2 prohibits overnight parking 2 AM to 6 AM; the town operates a limited overnight permit program for residents lacking off-street parking (annual or nightly passes via the Transportation Department). Weymouth winter parking ban runs November 1 - April 1, 1 AM to 6 AM, under Town Ordinance Ch. 20. Milton, Dedham, Randolph, and Braintree all enforce similar restrictions. Dover and Sherborn have no overnight ban. Tickets issued via handheld by police/parking enforcement.
Quincy: $50 ticket, tow for repeat offenders. Brookline: $40 per offense without permit, progressive fines. Weymouth winter ban: $25 ticket plus tow during declared snow emergency.
