County Code § 18-17-102 defines "vehicle" to include motor vehicles, trailers, and boats, then bars using land to park, store, collect, accumulate, or abandon any that are inoperable, wrecked, partially dismantled, or lack a current registration plate and validation sticker. This applies in residential yards and driveways countywide, including unincorporated communities like Glen Burnie and Severna Park. One vehicle per lot is exempt if recently purchased and awaiting inspection (60 days), listed for sale (60 days), actively being repaired toward registration (90 days, extendable by the Planning and Zoning Officer), or held pending an insurance, estate, or similar legal claim. Vehicles inside a fully enclosed roofed structure, or accessory to a marina or service facility, are exempt outright. Separately, § 18-17-103's 10,000-pound weight cap on oversized vehicles parked on residential lots does not apply to recreational vehicles at all.
