Pasco County manages parking in unincorporated areas. The county recently expanded RV/boat parking restrictions to prohibit parking or storage in any right-of-way countywide (LDC Β§530.5, Amendment 80, effective November 2025). This includes streets, sidewalks, and grassy or paved areas adjacent to roads.
Pasco County enforces street parking per local ordinance. Florida has no statewide consecutive parking time limit. Duration limits are set by city code and posted signage. Vehicles must be registered and operable. Parking near fire hydrants (15 feet), intersections, and driveways prohibited. Hurricane evacuation routes may have special parking restrictions during storm season. HOA and CDD neighborhoods may have additional on-street parking restrictions.
Parking citations per posted restrictions. Expired registration: citation plus tow. Fire hydrant violation: citation plus tow.
