Miami-Dade County Code Chapter 30, Section 30-388.15 prohibits parking vehicles on public roads, streets, or rights-of-way for the purpose of displaying for sale, greasing or repairing (except emergency repairs), displaying advertising, selling merchandise, or storage for more than 24 hours. Section 30-292 lists specific locations where stopping, standing, or parking is prohibited. Vehicles must leave at least 10 feet of roadway width for free vehicular movement. Vehicles deemed a serious threat to public health, safety, or welfare must be removed within 24 hours or face towing. Violations are enforced by Miami-Dade Police in unincorporated areas.
First offense: $100 fine for first vehicle. Repeat violations: $500 per vehicle. Vehicles may be towed immediately. Owners responsible for fines, towing fees, storage fees, and administrative costs.
