(a)No person shall park a vehicle upon any street or within the public right-of-way for the principal purpose of:(1)Displaying such vehicle for sale.(2)Washing, greasing or repairing such vehicle, except repairs necessitated by an emergency.(3)Displaying advertising.(4)Selling merchandise from such vehicle, except in a duly established marketplace, or when so authorized or licensed under this Code or other ordinances of the city.(5)Storage, or as junkage or dead storage for more than 24 hours.

City Code § 35-10 prohibits parking a vehicle on any street or public right-of-way to display it for sale, wash or repair it (except emergency repairs), display advertising, sell merchandise outside a licensed marketplace, or store it (or leave it as junkage) for more than 24 hours. In zoned residential districts the same section separately bars parking commercial vehicles, buses, trailers or semitrailers; trucks weighing a ton or more, taller than eight feet, wider than six feet ten inches, or longer than 18 feet six inches; construction equipment; and major recreational equipment such as RVs, campers, tents, or boat trailers, except for up to one hour to load or unload. Enforcement runs through designated city personnel or Miami Parking Authority (DOSP) enforcement specialists.
