SLCRO §1207.040 prohibits parking within 8 ft of a public mailbox, 15 ft of a fire hydrant, 20 ft of a crosswalk, or 30 ft from an intersection. Parking on sidewalks, in driveways, or blocking snow removal is also prohibited countywide.
Parking Prohibited in Specified Places applies to all St. Louis County roadways. Additional 'no parking' restrictions on subdivision streets require a resident petition processed by the Department of Highways & Traffic. SLCRO §716.153 (Automobile Trespass) makes it unlawful to park on private property without the owner's consent. The county speed limit is 25 mph on local roads (§1204.030).
Standard parking citation $25-$100; $250+ for fire hydrant/crosswalk violations; vehicle may be towed.
