Florissant, MO Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Florissant groups its street-parking bans into three tiers. The first bars stopping a vehicle at all in listed spots, including on the roadway side of another parked vehicle, on a sidewalk, within an intersection, on a crosswalk, near a safety zone, alongside a street excavation, on a bridge or in a tunnel, on railroad tracks, or wherever signs prohibit stopping. The second tier bars standing or parking except for a momentary passenger pickup or drop-off, covering in front of a public or private driveway, within fifteen feet of a fire hydrant, within twenty feet of a crosswalk at an intersection, within thirty feet of the approach to a signal or stop sign, within twenty feet of a fire station driveway (seventy-five feet on the opposite side if posted), and anywhere signs prohibit standing.

The third tier bars parking except for actual loading or unloading, covering within fifty feet of a railroad crossing and any signed no-parking location. 020 separately requires ten feet of roadway width be kept clear for traffic. None of these carries its own fine, so enforcement runs through the general penalty clause.
