Alcohol is barred except at special events holding a temporary permit under Section 6-30(d) and state alcohol control rules.
The section was most recently amended by Ordinance No. 18-3863 on March 1, 2018, building on the original 1980 ordinance establishing the park. This is a site-specific outdoor rule tied to a named parish property, distinct from the parish's indoor Smokefree Air Act compliance rules in chapter 2, which govern public buildings rather than parks or beaches.
