Summary
Nampa prohibits drinking or carrying an open container of beer, wine, or liquor in parks, streets, and other public places outside licensed premises or private residences; violations are infractions.
No person shall consume any beer, wine or liquor, or have in his possession any opened container or receptacle, containing any beer, wine or liquor on any public park grounds, or thoroughfares within the city, or at any other place therein, other than a private residence or upon premises licensed for the sale and consumption of beer, wine or liquor, or upon premises where beer, wine or liquor is sold by a licensee under an Idaho liquor catering permit, as authorized by the law. Any violation of this provision shall be an infraction.
