Bucks County operates its Park System, listed by parcel in Exhibit A to Ordinance No. 170, separately from the sidewalks, plazas and business districts that individual municipalities like Doylestown, Newtown or Quakertown regulate under their own borough or township codes; this rule reaches only county-owned or leased parkland, not municipal streets.

A rider who takes a skateboard onto an unpaved trail, a lawn, a pavilion or any other area of a county park that is not a designated skate park or paved roadway is in violation. § 16512. Violations fall under the general penalty section 12: a County Ordinance ticket of $25 to $100, or, at the Department's election, a summary citation carrying a fine up to $600, restitution and up to 10 days in jail, plus a possible Director-ordered expulsion from the Park System of six months to two years.
