The informational binder and floor plan required by Sec. 21-5.730 must identify sleeping rooms, their dimensions, and maximum occupancy for each. Occupancy counts feed into parking supply, insurance exposure, and public safety planning. Ewa Gentry homes often include converted lofts and guest suites; operators cannot declare more bedrooms than the building permit and LUO authorize. Registered units cannot exceed bedroom count caps and must honor the occupancy figures posted in guest materials. Hosting events that bring the number of people on site above permitted occupancy can also trigger LUO enforcement for an unauthorized use.
Exceeding posted occupancy can lead to DPP enforcement and is often cited alongside parking and noise infractions.
