Under Local Law 10-2024, Yonkers' Room Occupancy Tax increased from 3.0% (Local Law 19-2015) to 5.875% effective 8-1-2024. The tax is due within 20 days after each quarter-end with a notarized return. As of March 25, 2025, NY's statewide STR framework requires platforms (Airbnb, VRBO) to collect and remit the 4% state sales tax quarterly. Westchester County sales tax also applies.
