Except as provided under subsections (7) and (8) below, no temporary sign shall be placed on any site for more than 10 consecutive days. At least 90 days must elapse between any display of a temporary sign signs on any site.

Garage-sale and other temporary signs are governed by WCC 110.505.10(b). Temporary signs need not be affixed to the ground or a building, must not be illuminated or electronic, and cannot be placed in a prohibited sign area (Sec. 110.505.35). No temporary sign may remain on a site for more than 10 consecutive days, and at least 90 days must elapse between displays. Real-estate signs get a longer window: a for-sale/lease sign is allowed until 5 days after the sale records or lease is signed, with freestanding signs set back 5 feet from property lines. Temporary signs don't count against a site's sign allotment but must meet the size/height limits in Table 110.505.15.2. These rules apply in unincorporated county areas.
