Summary

Utica treats garage-sale signs as temporary signs. They may go up no more than six weeks before the sale and must come down within four days after, cannot exceed eight square feet in residential areas, and may not be nailed to trees or utility poles.

All signs of a temporary nature... shall be permitted for a period not exceeding six weeks prior to any activity or event nor exceeding four days after the activity or event.
