Fall River, MA Soliciting & Door-to-Door: No-Knock Registry (2026)

Fall River's door-to-door sales ordinance makes it unlawful for any permitted salesperson to enter or remain on property posted with a 'No Trespassing' or 'No Solicitation' sign. Even without a sign, a salesperson must leave as soon as a resident or their representative gives a verbal no-solicitation directive: continuing to solicit or lingering after that point is itself a violation of Chapter 14, Article XX, separate from any trespass charge. The Police Department administers the underlying permit program and can revoke a salesperson's permit for repeated violations of this section.
