New Braunfels, TX Soliciting & Door-to-Door: No-Knock Registry (2026)

New Braunfels doesn't run a city no-knock registry. Instead, a resident posts their own sign, wording like "No solicitors" or similar, at or near the property's entrance, and that notice is legally binding: it's unlawful for any solicitor, peddler, or mobile food unit to engage in soliciting activities on that property once posted. Separately, all peddlers, solicitors, and advertising or magazine vendors are barred from working outside true daylight hours, defined as 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset; night solicitation citywide is flatly prohibited. Political and religious canvassers who aren't selling anything or seeking donations are exempt from the chapter entirely, so a posted sign doesn't stop them.
