Under Sec. 12.05(7)(a) of the county's licensing chapter, a registered direct seller, peddler, solicitor, or transient merchant, may not call at any dwelling between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. except by prior appointment, may not call at a home displaying a "No Peddlers" or "No Solicitors" sign, and may not knock at a rear door or refuse to leave when asked.
