(A)No hawker, peddler, or huckster shall sell, or offer to sell, whether through himself or others, on any of the highways or public grounds within the city, any fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, ice, coal, provisions, goods, wares, or merchandise of any description until he shall first have obtained from the City Accountant a license to do so. This license shall be issued for a term not to exceed six consecutive calendar months.(B)The fee for such license shall be $25.00.
