Section 32-31 makes it unlawful for any person to engage in business as a peddler in the parish without first obtaining a permit. The application, required by section 32-32, must be filed in duplicate under oath and must include the applicant's name, home and local address, a description of the goods or services, employer information, a 2x2 inch photograph taken within 60 days, any prior criminal or ordinance convictions, and the last five municipalities, parishes or counties where the applicant worked before coming to St.

Tammany. Section 32-33 requires the applicant to already hold both a state and parish occupational license for the activity.
