190. 1 if it is covered by its own approved road closure permit and is not held in conjunction with a larger event, such as a festival or fair. A parade that does not qualify for that carve-out, because it lacks its own road closure permit or is bundled into a bigger event, falls under the standard special event permitting process, and the type of permit required, temporary use, administrative use, or conditional use, depends on the size and impact of the event under subsection F.

i requires the application to include an estimate of the maximum parade length, the total number of bands, sound vehicles, or musical units and their size, the total number of marching units and their size, the number and type of any animals, the number, size, type, and power source of any floats, and the spacing between units and floats and their travel speed. Applications for a temporary or administrative use permit must be filed thirty calendar days before the event, while a conditional use permit needs six months' notice.

Recurring parades held lawfully in the county for at least five years can obtain a master administrative use permit instead of reapplying every year, under subsection H.
