Full Breakdown
Under Tehama County Code § 13.24.020(K), reservations for any county park or park facility are accepted solely at the county's discretion, and accepting one reservation does not obligate the county to grant future reservations to the same applicant or for a similar event. Vending, food or beverage sales, and alcohol service at a county park require prior Board of Supervisors approval plus compliance with the California Retail Food Code, county insurance requirements, and, for alcohol, Sheriff sign-off and a state ABC license. A gathering expected to draw 500 or more people additionally needs a Chapter 13.12 special event permit. This applies only to county-owned parks, not municipal parks in Red Bluff, Corning, or the City of Tehama.
Violations & Fines
Violating park reservation or vending conditions is a misdemeanor under § 13.24.030, and anyone who damages park equipment or facilities is liable for repair or replacement costs.
