Full Breakdown
City Code § 215-1(F) bars holding, conducting, or addressing any public assemblage, meeting, or gathering in a park or recreational facility without first obtaining a written permit. Reserving specific facilities also carries a set fee under § 215-2.2: $25 for the Greeley Park gazebo, $375 for the bandstand outside Summerfun events, $300 for a Holman Stadium day game, $400 for a night game, and $25-$50 for two hours on an athletic field depending on lighting. Parks and Recreation Department-affiliated uses and Nashua School District events are fee-exempt, and the Board of Public Works may waive a fee on a showing of hardship.
Violations & Fines
Violating the park permit or fee rules is punishable as provided in City Code § 1-12. The Superintendent controls entertainment, exhibitions and permits; the Board of Public Works sets and waives facility fees.
