C allows restaurants in the DT Zone to operate outdoor eating areas on public sidewalks, rooftops, balconies, courtyards, or similar locations, provided pedestrian circulation and access to building entrances is not impeded and adequate horizontal and vertical clear space is maintained to meet applicable City codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act. 030; planters, fences, or other removable enclosures must define the limits of the dining area; adequate refuse containers must be provided within it; tables, chairs, planters, awnings, canopies, umbrellas, and other street furniture must be compatible with the building's architectural character in style, color, and materials; and the area must be kept clean and well-kept.
