Tiny homes on wheels are regulated as RVs or manufactured housing and cannot be used as permanent dwellings unless local zoning allows.

Building without required permits or inspections subjects an owner to stop-work orders, daily fines, and potential demolition orders under local code enforcement administering the state code.
