Oklahoma Home Solicitation and No-Knock Statutes

Title 14A O.S. Sections 2-501 through 2-505 govern home solicitation sales statewide. Any door-to-door sale of goods or services over $25 must include a written contract identifying the seller, the buyer's right to cancel within three business days, and a cancellation form. Sellers must orally notify buyers of cancellation rights and refund all payments within ten days of cancellation. Title 21 O.S. Section 1835 also makes trespass after notice a misdemeanor, supporting local no-knock registries. Cities may operate no-knock lists and require solicitor permits, but the three-day cancellation right and contract disclosures apply universally and cannot be waived.

Failing to provide cancellation notice voids the contract and entitles buyers to a full refund. Deceptive solicitation is also actionable under Title 15 Consumer Protection Act with up to $10,000 civil penalties.
