Vermont Statewide Rule
Vermont requires written notice before eviction. For nonpayment of rent, 9 V.S.A. § 4467(a) requires at least 14 days' actual notice, which the tenant can cure by paying the rent due. For breach of a lease term, § 4467(b) generally requires 30 days' notice (14 days for serious criminal or violent conduct).
