Vermont Statewide Rule
To end a month-to-month tenancy without cause, a Vermont landlord must give at least 60 days' notice if the tenancy is two years or less, and at least 90 days' notice if it has lasted more than two years (9 V.S.A. Β§ 4467(c)). Actual removal requires a court action.
