Swimming pools in Brick Township require building permits under the NJ Uniform Construction Code. In-ground pools are not permitted in front yard areas. Side and rear yard setbacks of 5 feet apply. No pool may be within 15 feet of the waterward face of a bulkhead. A final inspection from the Engineering Department is required prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy.
