Fort Myers, FL Trash & Recycling: Bulk Item Disposal (2026)

The city collects residential bulk, vegetative debris and white goods once a week at no extra charge, but only up to a set volume. Bulk horticultural waste, junk or white goods must be stacked in one compact pile within the resident's property line, generated only from that property. A pile exceeding four cubic yards of junk or white goods, or ten cubic yards of horticultural solid waste, per parcel or Lee County STRAP number counts as a special pickup and is billed under section 70-82, $27.30 per additional cubic yard for residential accounts. Junk piles are also capped at 15 feet in length and horticultural piles at 10 feet.
