Bulk items may also be hauled directly to the Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) in Egg Harbor Township, (609) 272-6950. Residents using a private hauler must follow the ยง 267-16 curb-timing rule (no more than 24 hours before collection). Consult the current Public Works bulk-waste schedule for exact drop-off dates.
Improper disposal of bulk or construction/demolition debris is subject to a fine up to $1,000 plus cleanup and disposal costs, or 20 to 40 hours of community service, or a combination.
