Sec. 118-104.C.14 requires the contractor to collect bulk waste, white goods and electronic equipment placed at the curb, but excludes vehicles, vehicle parts, boats, boat trailers and liquid waste. Bulk waste must be disassembled where possible into sections under fifty pounds and four feet in length before pickup, and refrigerator/appliance doors must be removed or locked. A residential customer must contact the Manager at least 48 hours before their collection day to receive curbside pickup of white goods, electronics, tires or lead-acid batteries, and may set out no more than four tires and two lead-acid batteries per month (Sec. 118-104.C.7-8). Construction and demolition debris beyond small projects must be hauled by the owner to a county facility.

Improperly prepared or ineligible bulk items may not be collected. Solid-waste violations are prosecuted under FS 125.69 (Sec. 118-108); illegal disposal of C&D debris or abandoned property is separately prohibited under Sec. 54-182.
