McKinney provides monthly bulk trash pickup for residential customers through CWD. Items must be placed curbside the night before scheduled collection, limited to 6 cubic yards per month.
Bulk items include furniture, mattresses, appliances (no Freon), and bundled brush. Freon appliances require separate scheduling and a removal fee. Construction debris, tires, and hazardous waste are excluded. Schedule bulk pickup through the CWD portal or call 972-392-9300. Items placed out early may generate code violations.
Excess volume beyond 6 cubic yards may be left uncollected. Placing items out more than 24 hours early: 100 to 500 dollar fine.
