Nampa City Code section 3-3-9 lays out occupant duties for trash service. Subsection C carves large and bulky items, trees, construction and demolition waste, and unwanted or abandoned vehicles and car bodies, out of routine pickup, stating removal 'shall be the sole responsibility of each occupant.' The city's contracted collector only handles the refuse volumes and frequency set in its service contract under section 3-3-8, so there's no automatic bulk-item day; residents must arrange private hauling or haul items to a solid waste disposal site themselves. Dumping such waste on streets or public property instead is a separate misdemeanor under section 3-4-3.
