Violations & Fines
Violating any article of Chapter 17, including placing or servicing a commercial dumpster without going through the county's franchisee arrangement or the required container sizing, is an infraction under § 6-17.102, enforced by the Director of the Community Services Department through Title 1, Chapter 5 administrative citations. Interfering with, tampering with, or depositing waste in another business's dumpster without written permission violates § 6-17.404. Operating a hauling or collection service without the county franchise required by § 6-17.501(a) is a separate violation of Chapter 17.
