Collection service shall be provided by the Contractor on Monday through Saturday, except Holidays. Should a Holiday occur on the date designated as a Customer's collection day, the next collection for that Customer shall take place no later than the next regular collection day for the Customer.

Sec. 118-102 makes solid-waste collection mandatory: all waste generated on residential or commercial property in a benefit unit must be collected and hauled to an approved county facility by the designated contractor. Sec. 118-104.B sets collection Monday through Saturday, except holidays; when a holiday falls on your collection day, the next collection happens no later than your next regular day. Residential curbside service covers garbage and rubbish, yard trash/biomass, program recyclables, bulk waste, white goods, tires, batteries and electronics. Hazardous waste is not collected curbside and must go to a county Recycling Drop-Off Center or the Hazardous Materials Collection Center.
