Fayetteville runs weekly municipal curbside collection with household trash, recycling, and yard waste all picked up on the same assigned day. Look up your day with the city's Find My Pickup Day tool.
The city's Recycling and Trash Collection (RTC) Division collects household trash, curbside recycling, and yard waste together on one weekly day per address. Find your day using the Find My Pickup Day map on fayetteville-ar.gov or by calling RTC at 479-575-8398. Carts and yard waste must be at the curb by 5 a.m. on your collection day. Holidays rarely shift service: only New Year's Day delays residential routes one day, while Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Veterans Day run on the normal schedule. No curbside bulky waste is collected on holidays.
Missed or improperly set-out carts may be skipped until the next cycle. Items left at the curb outside scheduled collection are an unsightly-condition violation under City Code 95.01, enforced by Code Compliance.
