Unincorporated Orange County caps uncontainerized yard waste bundles at 3 feet long and 60 pounds, per the county code.
Yard waste conducive to containerization shall be placed for collection in a container as specified in the program requirements. Yard waste not conducive to containerization shall be cut to lengths not to exceed three (3) feet in length, securely tied into bundles and shall weigh less than sixty (60) pounds. The franchisee shall not be required to collect any yard waste which does not comply with the requirements in this section or which exceeds three (3) cubic yards per collection.
