Operators must give written notice to neighboring property owners and ensure an emergency contact is reachable for police response. Operators must also hold a TPT license from the Arizona Department of Revenue and remit applicable transient lodging taxes. Failure to register or to maintain required documentation can result in civil penalties under state law.
