Allen Code of Ordinances Chapter 2 (Animal Control) requires a physical restraint not exceeding 6 feet when a dog is off the owner's premises. Voice control is not accepted. Allen Station Bark Park on Century Parkway is the only sanctioned off-leash area. Dogs found at large may be impounded; reclaiming requires proof of rabies vaccination and impoundment fees.
First offense 100 dollars. Repeat offenses up to 500 dollars. Impound fees start at 50 dollars plus 15 dollars per day boarding.
