The text reads: 'No person shall feed or construct artificial nesting sites in the City of St. Peters for any wild waterfowl including geese except when specially authorized by the Manager.' The 'Manager' is the City's Health and Code Enforcement Manager, defined at Section 205.010 as the officer designated to enforce Chapter 205, and that official's advance authorization is the only way to lawfully feed geese or other wild waterfowl or build them a nesting structure anywhere in the city.

The rule sits inside the same subsection that also requires residents to keep chicken manure and other fecal matter out of storm drains and creeks, reflecting the City's broader concern with nuisance conditions and water-quality impacts of animal feeding and waste near the city's lakes and detention basins. Because the prohibition is chapter-wide rather than limited to a single park, it applies equally at 370 Lakeside Park and any other public or private property within St. Peters city limits, not just a Board of Aldermen-designated conservation area.

Animal Control Officers and the Health Manager's staff enforce the section, and a report of unauthorized feeding is handled the same way as any other Chapter 205 complaint.
