The Florida Building Code and the National Electrical Code, as amended from time to time, are hereby adopted as the minimum construction standards for all municipal and unincorporated areas within Palm Beach County, Florida. The county may adopt amendments to the administrative and technical provisions of the Florida Building Code pursuant to F.S. § 553.73.(c)Applicability. The Florida Building Code includes building, electric, plumbing, mechanical and other technical codes, for the health, safety and general warfare of citizens in the unincorporated area of the county.
