New Braunfels, TX Building Safety: Plumbing Permits (2026)

City Code § 14-33 adopts the 2021 International Plumbing Code (IPC) as the plumbing code of New Braunfels, renaming it "the Plumbing Code of the City of New Braunfels" and creating the Building Safety Division as the enforcing agency under the code official (subsections a and b). The city deletes the IPC's own Appendix A outright: plumbing permit fees are not the model-code fee schedule at all, they are "set forth by City Ordinance" instead (subsection i), so the fee table city council adopts separately controls rather than whatever figure the printed IPC carries.
