Little Chute, WI Building Setbacks & Zoning: Lot Coverage Limits (2026)

The Village of Little Chute limits how much of a residential lot a single-family home and its accessory structures may cover. In the RC conventional single-family district, the village's standard detached-home zone, dimensional standards cap lot coverage at 35 percent, alongside a 7,500-square-foot minimum lot area and 25-foot front yard setback. The newer RD dense modern single-family district allows up to 50 percent coverage on smaller lots, so the applicable cap depends on which district a parcel sits in. A zoning permit under § 44-462 is required before building, and exceeding the cap without approval is enforceable under § 44-466.
